HD DVD owners already own a player, so why pay more than needed. Combo’s are very expensive, why not just go out and buy a Blu-ray player at half the cost?

In the end Toshiba would no doubt spin such an event to suggest that HD DVD is still viable and should be kept alive, we don’t need that now.
