Question: Is it true that HD-DVD is not 1080p? - Blu-ray Forum

So does the xbox hd player do 1080P? I play games in 1080P but it just don't seem right having 1080p with componets ( I don't have the elite) And would it matter if the the player is connected to the xbox with a usb? It uses a usb to connect to the xbox to run the player and the xbox connects with a componet cable or hdmi. Would that affect quality?

HD-DVD can do 1080p... it is only the cheap players that can't...

From what I understand the HD-DVD add on for the XBox 360 has a limit of 720p for output.
