Or buy this, and sell the one you don't need, on here, for those that do need it.

Not a bad idea, but it would really depend on how complete this release is.

Has the Sapphire Series dried up indefinitely? We haven't seen a new one since American Beauty.

This is a good deal. If history repeats, the price will drop not long after release.

Balls to pre-ordering!

What're the chances of the Blu ray edition of Gladiator being the remastered version? Chances are likely, but I just wanted to hear some thoughts.

^^
The only release I see for sale now for Gladiator is the remastered release. With the amount of flak they got for their original release, I'd be stunned if they went with that version for this release.

I'll pass on this one, seeing that I already have both of them. For those that haven't picked both of them up, it seems like a good deal.

No chance. Paramount US no longer presses the DNR/EE version, the only one in print is the 4K remastered release.

Pretty sure this is all 4 discs. Why? Because Amazon lists this as 4 discs. I have it on pre-order. So I guess I'll find out within a few weeks

A great deal since it looks like these are just both of the regular releases together, but I'll still pass since I already own Braveheart. I'll continue to wait on a sale for Gladiator.

It's a shame that I already have both of these... or is it?! Mwahahahahahaha!

Surprised at how many people haven't seen one or the other.

Maybe they took a break after American Beauty to find out why they can only get a decent transfer out the door half the time. I bought American Beauty and it might be the only Blu-ray I regret paying for. What a godawful, noisy, harsh, grating transfer.

Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, remastered Gladiator and Forrest Gump are all awesome, I'd love to see more Sapphire releases like that, but if they're just going to crap on my favorite movies I would rather they took a break for a while.

My local fye had the double pack out already. Both Blus come in their own cases, wrapped together, and in a single slipcover (like the one posted above for the Wayne's World movies). Good deal for those who don't care about the individual slipcovers or already have them.

Here's a pic of the slip:
