A lot of the women mentioned in the thread are absolutely gorgeous. But they just don't have what it takes to be an amazon. Wonder Woman is statuesque thick, shapely, with tone. Think Marilyn Monroe if she was a brunette!

If they use camera angles and giant boots to make the actress more than what she is whats the point?

Yeah...I had to look him up on imdb. He has directed some movies in the past few years (Bronson, Drive, Valhalla Rising), and he's currently working on the Logan's Run remake.

He won the Best Director award at Cannes this year for Drive, starring Ryan Gosling. That's also the film I'm looking forward to most from Cannes this year.

That would be genius casting, especially after that TV show disaster. Europeans have common sense with these types of decisions. I think most people would prefer a 30-40 year old hot curvy women rather than some tween flat-chested girl.

I would not be opposed at all to Christina playing Princess Diana in a Wonder Woman movie, but there is another role that Hendricks absolutely needs to play someday

I Love the "idea" of her playing the part, though to be sure, you know the "suits" (studio heads) would prob. want her to lose a few lbs., and/or Tone Up quite a bit to play the Athletic Superhero role that is "Wonder Woman". She's beautiful & Can ACT, sure, but her body type is more suited to her Current role as the Voluptuous/Curvaceous secretary on "MAD MEN. For the Wonder Woman character, she might be asked to drop 15-25-ish lbs, & tone up some. She's fine, I LOVE her Curves. But for the "Character" of WW, she might have to hit the gym & diet a bit for that (potential) role, IF she's cast.

I know nobody will agree and will think that she is just too old now but IMO the best choice is Catherine Zeta Jones.

lol - you're right Troy73 - she is a great actress & has shown she can do some decent Action roles, but WONDER WOMAN is prob. for someone Under 40.
