Very wrong once again the slim ps3 does a lot less than the fats its why they cost less than 1/2 what they did the only difference is the fat ps3 sent out the hd audio formats straight to your reciever and let that decode the slim has the option to decode internally the only diffence? instead of seeing pcm which meant ur avr was decoding the audio is it will now say dtshd or tru hd again there is no diffence lossless is lossless now if the problem is that you DONT have an avr that is or was capable of decoding lossless audio surround sound then u didnt have lossless audio then and u still dont now
