Not necessarily. The DVDs were not remixed for EX. Star Wars already had exisiting EX masters for the BD version.

Paramount goes back and forth on formats, and KOTCS isn't "broken" audio or video wise so why waste the money.

I think we're a ways off from any formal announcement news, but I'm okay with it either way as I never bought Crystal Skull.
I hope, like Star Wars, they give fans the choice between a 4-movie set & 3-movie set....with the single releases to follow.

Indy will be next year, probably in the Fall. That's pretty much standard industry procedure with high-profile catalog titles. If Lucas announced both of his major tentpole franchises for release in the same year on Blu-Ray, then I'd be alarmed...it would indicate he did not have faith in the long-term viability of the format, and was looking ahead to something else.

Me too. And I already own the fourth film.

I like the series as a whole, even if I think some are not as good as others.

Thank you for posting those, I'd forgotten about the action game! The adventure game came with a copy of the Grail diary (which mysteriously went missing from my house). They don't make games like that anymore (I wonder if they'll re-release it like Monkey Island?).

In the meantime I think I'll pick up a copy of Crystal Skull on BD as I don't have any Harrison Ford titles on Blu (apart from the Apocalypse Now cameo).

Well, if I had purchased Crystal Skull individually or hated it to death, I can very well understand. But I never bought it, and it's not an issue for me, because I plan on getting it eventually. But, like most, I'm just waiting for an official anouncement, and if it does get confirmed to be a trilogy set, I may go ahead and get Crystal Skull individually before I get the trilogy set. But if it turns out to be the whole shebang and I already had Crystal Skull, I would simply try and sell it. Then it would depend on the price of the box-set. I, myself wouldn't mind having to pay an extra $10 if I had to, but not $20.

Think about it this way, how much would you be willing to pay for each title? For me, I would at least pay $25 for Raiders and Crusade, because that's how much I value them. And I would settle for about $20 for Temple of Doom. That adds up to about $70. And if Kingdom of Crystal Skull was in there for about $10 dollars, that would be $80. I would settle for that so long as I'm in a decent financial situation at the time of release. But anywhere bellow that is very welcome for me, and may end up being the actual price in the end, 'cause I bet it won't be much more than $80 anyway. Even so, the price may go down a bit by the time of release. But of course, we'll just have to wait and see how it all turns out. But for the sake of those who already have Crystal Skull or just hate it to death, I do hope it doesn't include Crystal Skull. At least then, I could wait on Crystal Skull if I wanted to or needed to. Besides, it is one Indiana Jones title I have even an incline to disliking.

Preparation makes all the difference. If you get anouncements/positive rumors a couple/few months before release, then you should have enough time to save up some $$.

Since I already have the DVD boxset I'm willing to wait this one out, same with Star Wars. But I have never owned Jurassic Park so I'm all in on that release day!
