Highest MC rating for a wide release this year.
Also, the Broadcast Film Critics gave it a score of 95, now I can't go looking through their 2011 historical ranks, but acclaimed films like Bridesmaids, Tree of Life, Midnight in Paris, Rango, Source Code among others are all lower than Deathly Hallows 2. It also has a 96% on RT if I'm not mistaken with 100% on Top Critics and an 8.5 average for all critics. Personally, though I liked it, I do hope that WB releases a disc with both films on it. It doesn't have a start, obviously, and therefore never feels like a real movie but part of another, which it of course is. |
