But I don't recall ever hearing of a movie or tv show that I liked 90% of it, but one casting made me just say "**** it, I'm out". I mean I REALLY despise Cuba Gooding Jr., although that's more of a situation of thinking "how far can someone fall after getting an Oscar?" than anything else, but I never read about American Gangster and was like "Okay, this has Denzel, Idris Elba, Russell Crowe, Sam Weiss and a slew of other awesome actors, but it's got Cuba in it so **** that!" As I said I REALLY don't like Lewis because she weirds me out. But dismissing a project that you admittedly were stoked about, because of ONE casting is a bit weird for me. |
