Mac OS X can support full rez blu-ray play back. It does require a very minor software update but the frameworks are for the most part, there.

agreed. I would actually be surprised if authoring was not introduced at the same time. apple will not include a feature only to say they have it. they will wait until its perfected and practical, or "just works"
