Do you want to upgrade your receiver because of it’s age? Or are you looking to get into better audio quality?

I am looking to upgrade my Onkyo 805 also, but it has nothing to do with age or dissapointment with it. I want to move up in gear and with audio quality. I looking to get the Onkyo pre/pro 5508 and an amp(which I haven't decided on yet)
