The film is of paramount importance to me. Different strokes for different folks i guess.
Cheers,
Carcuss.
I'm kinda the same. It's weird, I don't really watch the special features much, unless I really love the movie or the doco sounds good, but I get annoyed when there isn't a good bunch of features on a release lol. I've probably only watched about 10-20 doco's out of the 300+ Blu rays I own.

I highly doubt I will watch many of the special features on Star Wars, but feel I will be missing if I don't get the complete saga, even though I prefer the trilogy artwork.

Watched: Sucker Punch again. Enjoyed it just as much the second time around. Reference audio for me. It'll definitely be one of the first discs going on in the new home theatre once built and calibrated.

If it's plastic the sticker has left residue on, a little bit of eucalyptus oil on a tissue or cotton wool bud does the trick very slickly indeed. If it's laminated cardboard, be careful not to let it soak into the board, or you'll get an oil stain.

Shellite is good. Quick drying and wont discolour the inserts unless you keep rubbing it in like a madman. Just a thought.

watched bubba ho-tep. a fantastic film which never gets boring how may times you watch it. bruce campbell is king

robocop 3. wasnt as bad as its made out to be. the fact they changed robocops actor and the pg13 rating is what hurt it

watched once upon a time in the west. great film and disc, though i still belive leones dollar trilogy are far better westerns

Thanks for all the advice on the sticky residue, I didn't have any of the suggested products to try, but I gave that Earth branded spray and wipe a go, and it seemed to do the trick quite well.

I watched Rubber, 22 Bullets (in the correct aspect ratio) and The Island - all looked pretty damn impressive on BD

Pascoe's make a product called Oomph Glue Remover that has worked for me. The trick is to leave it for a minute after you spray.

Children of Men.

Damned impressive movie, technically as well as dramatically. I was happy enough with the Blu-ray, though for a simple rewatch it isn't a significant advancement over the DVD.

Watched: Mortal Kombat

Wow I had not seen this film in years.. maybe not since it first came out even.. I kept cranking up the sound system when ever the main theme kicked it expecting some real awesome shit to go down, but lol, it didn't.

Its still enjoyable though, and the picture quality was pretty impressive for a cheap title.
