I was asking more about bitrate than codecs. I wasn't sure if you meant they will continue using VC-1 so we won't see any highly detailed transfers because VC-1 doesn't benefit from higher bitrates.

My biggest problem with Warner is that I haven't seen any great looking titles from them. I thought The Departed looked good but there wasn't any "wow" factor like I've seen many times before on non-Warner releases.

I guess my question should have been if we will ever see any top tier releases from Warner once they are no longer burdened with HD DVD?
