That will suck. I better tell my sis to buy one now so she can still play her PS2 games up-converted.
I love my 60 GB upgraded to 160 GB PS3. I use ALL the features on it all the time. I listen to SACDs, play PSone, PS2, and PS3 games, watch DVDs and BDs, listen to CDs, download content, etc. The only thing I don't do is PSP related stuff, which I plan to add later this year.
I would hate to be missing any of those features.

I think its a safe bet to say they'll have 2 consoles at all times. maybe we'll see a 100 or 120 gb version now with the option of white

Ditto. I couldn't imagine having:

* a smaller hard drive
* no card slots
* no wireless access
* no PS2 compatibility
* fewer USB ports

Is it me or does the PSP handle Wi-Fi way better than the PS3? This is my only complaint.
Wireless:

PS3 PSP

Don't own a PSP, but once I got it set up I've had no wireless issues with my PS3.

Yea at 90-100% signal strength its fine. But when i bring it downstairs at like 30-40% signal strength it struggles. My PSP however, is still optimum at this %.

HUH?

Who told you that the 40GB doesn't have wireless access? I have a 60GB and a 40GB... both do wireless.
