If you want the BTTF set it's better to price match it at FS. BB has it for $34.99 and with the price match FS will drop from $68.99 to $31.59 pre-tax.

Or better to wait until the week before/after Christmas - If walmart has them out already, there might be a good chance that they drop to $15 again? Not sure... I do know they were tough to come by last time. I hit 3 walmarts before nabbing the last copy at the third location. That said, I still haven't opened the thing

Canada Looney Tunes Platinum Collection

If anyone is looking for Looney Tunes Platinum Edition (blu-ray), it's currently $45.99 at Wal-Mart.

Futureshop is selling it for $59, and amazon.ca and bestbuy.ca have it for $47.99 (w/ free shipping). It's also 38.99 at amazon.com (+ ~$8.00 shipping), and $56.0903 CAD (£34.57) from amazon.co.uk.

So, if you don't already have all the Golden Collections and other dvds (Spotlight etc.) that were released, this is a pretty good deal. The packaging is fairly nice, there are a lot of films on here (50 with complete sets of some of my favourite characters), and some pretty good documentaries on the last disc. Plus it comes with one of those booklet inserts that is narrated by Jerry Beck. It's well worth the price.

Doubtful. Could see it hitting around that price on boxing day though. As last year proved, a lot of the deals are repeats of stuff we've seen all year.

It's still $23.55 USD at grooves-inc.com. Plus, new customers get a $6-7 coupon when they signup to their newsletter. Shipping free when you spend more than $27.56~.

What is with WM and their high prices lately? Unless they are getting ready to cut them all by 50% on Cyber Monday or something.
what are the prices of godfather and harry pothead?

The set advertised on their website for $45.99 is the Digibook version, & not the Ultimate Box Set just so everyone is clear... The Ultimate Boxed version is listed at $54.93 on walmart.ca, & not sold in stores, only online. The Boxed version is limited to 36,000 copies (just in Canada..?).

cool! thanks!

I bought Batman Arkham Asylum & Arkham City as a Walmart exclusive package at 59.xx$ (did not open it yet )

but Batman: Arkham City on PS3 at 29$ is a much better deal since I have already played & finished Arkham Asylum...

To re-post this in the correct thread:

Wal-mart's BF flyer is online already over at RFD, but doesn't list many blu-rays except for a selection at $15.

lol I just got into that with a buddy of mine tonight. He only buys "important" movies on Blu-Ray (ie: Star Wars/Pixar) and the rest he gets 720p from iTunes.
He was saying you "can't tell the difference" at all. I told him to put them side by side and he'd see a huge difference, but he refuses to do that =P

Then again, this is the same guy that said Sharp makes crappy TVs and is content with mp3s so .. *shrug*

I imagine pretty much everyone with half decent eyesight can see the difference. It's more a matter of actually caring about the added resolution. Some people just want to watch the movie.
