everyone should know this and spread the word.. my friend is getting a ps3 tonight solely on this news, plus the warner switch... god what i would do to see a focus picture on blu ray... eternal sunshine... atonement... lost in translation... motorcycle diaries... i almost wanna say its just not fair... but ill leave that to the people that own hddvd

Well people didnt BUY that many BR players which was already reported.

They were Given away FREE with a HDTV thats why such Hi #'s for BR.

Also reports are saying people are returning these players for Credit.

Just google or read other websites and you will see this.

high numbers? thats only 62.2 blu ray players per state a day for a week...not very high at all lol

Do you think it really matters? Either way blu is way ahead and this will keep growing. How many out of the HD DVD's do you think people have returned? I bet its pretty close to the same as the Blu returns.

And the beauty is they can still sell blu-ray returns unlike the HD-DVD returns which keep piling up unwanted in the corner.

This does seem like an avalanche that is falling with much more speed than I expected after the relatively grinding "March to the Sea" of 2007. At this rate, Toshiba will roll up the white flag before Father's Day...

WOW that is HUGE....what surprises me more is that there are still hd dud fanatics out there that still believes hd dvd is gonna pull thru! its a DAM format people...blu is better...be happy with that
