Transformers Limited Edition Collector's Trilogy Blu-ray

Any word on when these are getting released? Wasn't it supposed to be by the end of the year? Funny we haven't heard anything about them yet.

it's listed @ 12/6....@ least the last time i looked, but someone said it's looking like Feb./March next year.

Yeah I think there would be something official by now with Dec 6th being just over a week away. I think next Feb/March is WAY more likely.

I really like TF 3. I actually liked it quite a bit more than the first two.

I had to watch this one as a rental though...waiting for the eventual 3-D release of this one.

I think someone in the other thread said they work in merchandising for one of the major retailers and the date they had was 1/24/12.

The Target ad has been posted for 12/6 and transformers 3d is not listed. Looks like the wait continues

The January date makes sense. Paramount can sell a bunch more of the combo pack through December, more 3D TVs will be sold that month, and people who want the 3D version will have the $10 off coupon, and possibly some gift cards to use.

I wonder how Amazon would handle the 10 dollar coupon if they were to offer it.

Even if that is the date(and I hope it is), wouldn't we have heard something official by now? I mean we are almost into March for preorders.
How come this one is taking so long?
Also does anyone have an idea of what special feature will be included on this? As that is the main reason I'm holding out for it.

All I am hoping for is that this gets released before the coupon included in the barebones release expires.I look forward to seeing this in 3D again.

Ah, good question. Don't have specs yet, but it will at least be a 2 Disc Blu-ray loaded with all of the special features missing from the original release. Prob won't be DVD/DC included if I had to guess. But who knows, Paramount is weird sometimes.
