Top 10 Coolest People in videogameing

So me and some of my freinds are gonna make a vid showing the top 10 coolest people in videogameing. Now the only real thing I can think of is Solidus Snake (Who else can take down 3 MG Rays in 30 seconds.) Anyway write your list character descriptions mabye some photos.

Kratos (God of War)
Not even dying can stop the juggernaut. He takes on the entire pantheon of Olympus, plus all their servants, and does it in brutal and awesome style.

Ryu Hyabusa (Ninja Gaiden)
He's a ninja, and he cuts people's heads off. He's fast, deadly, and he looks great while doing it. All he needs is exploding guitars and he'd be perfect (that's an inside joke for those that know what I'm referring to ).

Dante (Devil May Cry)
Anyone who can get stabbed by a sword in the chest and rip it out is seriously hardcore. Add the fact that he's got some of the most stylish combination attacks in the history of videogaming and you've got a winner.

Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)
While she's probably known as much for the size of her D-cups as her skills at handling guns, Lara Croft is the real deal as far as dishing out pain and suffering for her enemies.

The Prince (Prince of Persia)
Rarely has being so very acrobatic looked ever so manly. Chimpanzees would be jealous of how smoothly the Prince handles himself on makeshift bars and climbing handholds, while handing out destruction with a tiny little dagger.

Master Chief (Halo)
For a guy who has never said a word in his entire career, he's pretty good at embodying the "strong, silent type". He cuts to the chase and uses whatever weapons come to hand to turn aliens into piles of body parts.

Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)
There's nothing like wielding a sword that's longer than you are tall and having meta-magical, nearly-cosmic power to put fear into the hearts of your enemies. He also has the distinction of having the coolest theme song of all video game characters (One Winged Angel).

Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid)
Sneaking around all on your lonesome into bases full of enemies and successfully hiding inside a cardboard box takes some serious chutzpah.

Darth Vader (various Star Wars games, plus a cameo in the upcoming Soul Calibur IV)
No one makes dressing in black and speaking softly as awesome as this guy. And there's nothing like a Force Choke death grip for silencing your critics.

Samus Aran (Metroid)
Big guns, amazingly resilient armor, and more methods of getting around than any other hero with perhaps the exception of Megaman. Awesome with a capital A.

Let's do a quick comparison.

Mario: Has a girlfriend who spends all of her time getting kidnapped by a big dude with spikes on his back and therefore never gets any.

Bowser: Has kids. Maybe with above-mentioned girlfriend "on the sly" since they do seem to spend quite a lot of time in each other's company.

Which of the two would you consider to be studlier?

From MGS? Because Solid Snake is gutsier.

If you're talking about the lightning god from Mortal Kombat, he's pretty hardcore too (esp. as he's the only character from the series that got a fair shake in the MK movies ).

Meh. When I first read this thread title, I thought it was gonna be about game developers, not characters themselves. They're not exactly "people".

My vote is for Thrall from the Warcraft series. The video of him from WC3 laying the smackdown on Mannoroth is awesome.

I also think Sam and Max from Sam & Max Hit the Road are awesome. Hell, any of the characters from the LucasArts adventure games are awesome. Although I understand a lot of people on this forum are young and probably never played those classics.

On console, I like Nariko from Heavenly Sword and Moon Knight from Ultimate Alliance.

Master Chief is a regular Chatty Cathy doll. He talks during nearly ever cut scene. You just never get to see his face.

Gordon Freeman (Half Life) is the one that doesn't talk. At least he didn't in HL2, I can't remember if he spoke in the first one.
