probably not available for store pick up because its part of the black friday sale. There are however right now plenty of copies availble in store.
that will most likely change 2 days from now.

Default So much for exclusivity

I just saw these for sale at my local B & M Hastings. They had the Best Buy exclusive stickers on them which I thought was funny.

Probably a Mis-ship. We get Wal-Mart product at Best Buy all the time. There are plenty of distribution centers that service multiple retailers. I would be surprised if it was able to be rung up in their system unless they're putting UPCs or Skus for the 2D version on it.

picked up DH2-3D this weekend. Now i need to get my old Samsung 3D TV working. It was an added luxury to this 2008 tv but it's been hell trying to find a kit or glasses for it.

Can't wait to see my favorite HP film in 3D

UK version for anyone who wants to see it:

The lenticular slipcover is very good and the rating logos on the front are stickers.

I did not realize that the individual release was also going to be in the thicker case

Also the discs (they could have changed the artwork up a bit)

Saw this in hmv and thought the case was a lot thicker. A bit odd

It is a lot thicker, 25mm to be exact

Its because the case is flat on the ground

Just saw Part II 3D and have to concur with many people here; the 3D surprised me quite a bit with its pretty high quality. I'd seen both 2D and 3D in quick time and have to say that the 3D impressed me far more; certain scenes even seem to have been designed for that kind of immersion, without giving too much away. Haven't seen Part I yet but am looking to pick it up soon: is it as good, or similar?

watched part 1 and 2 one yesterday and part 2 today. too much crosstalk and blurry backgrounds. i have them in 2d and they are just fine that way.

honestly these transfers suck in my opinion. these are relatively flat experiences. post productions always seem to be captain america and thor.

the general film felt barely in 3d. i can see some screw ups in the 3d presentation. i think part 1 had less crosstalk than part 2. i expected better.

HTTYD or AVATAR as still the pinnacle of 3d. transformers 3 isn't bad at all. kung fu panda 2 is also great. i've recently watched a bunch. i haven't seen kung fu panda 1 in 3d. pirates 4 was just OK.

this film should have been left in 2d like the rest.

when the films are dark and dark...its hard to make anything pop...but when you look at the grass in this vs say avatar...its not the same. the dimensions are off. they set this area in front this section in the middle and this in the back. thats not 3d. for live action post production...i think captain america is my fav. just my .02 of copper.

Actually, that's another disc, How to Train Your Donkey 3D is a 3D documentary narrated by James Earl Jones and filmed with fusion 3D cameras at the Hollywood Hills Donkey Sanctuary:P It's a rare import though, you need to get it from Asia or get the Region 2 German Release where I think it's titled Dat Ass 3D.

What display did you use to watch the HP 3D movies? The Sony KDL-40NX711? If that was the display you used, I think the blurry backgrounds and crosstalk are probably artifacts from the set when playing certain Blu-ray 3D titles. I've seen similar artifacts, with the Sony 3D Gaming Display and I think it is a quality factor of the screen's electronic design for 3D capabilities to reach a larger consumer base.

Default You've got to be a pretty hardcore Harry Potter fan to bite on this!

Harry Potter Wizards Collection

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product?ASIN=B007FSEAHY

BD, DVD, 3DBD (only of the last two movies unfortunately) and UV digital. The price? 349.99. WOW!! That's pretty staggering. Reading through the list of what's included it doesn't sound like there is anything new here over previous releases other than the packaging itself and the fact that it's all bundled together in one place now. Check out the reviews, it seems there's quite a negative backlash over the price! Would have been nice to see 3D conversions of the previous films, but that price still would have been a tough sell. I'm sure it'll come down by release time, but it would have to drop a lot to get my attention.

PS, sorry for the huge pic, I linked it from Amazon and can't figure out if there's a way to frame it smaller.
