Will definately be making a purchase. I expect this disc to be nothing short of reference. The DVD looked pretty good upconverted, and sounded pretty good too. I can't wait to see a pristine 1080p transfer and LPCM.

I'm buying this as soon as it comes out...it's soo fun to watch!! I loved this movie, I didn't care for the directors' cut since I wanna watch the whole thing striaght through,not jump around from story to story.

I just watched Gone in 60 seconds today, and in the preview before they had a lil bit of Pirates of the Caribbean in it, and it's going to be awesome in HD!

Doubt it.

Star Wars and Raiders are hardware selling titles, Pirates, maybe, but Sin City? Hardly.

In any event it's nice to see new titles.

One thing that has helped Lionsgate titles sell so well would be the price, wouldn't you say

I dunno both Crank and Saw 3 are at $27.95 on Amazon. Did you mean that Lionsgate films are cheaper? I found that to be the opposite.

Sin city will easily outsell Crank. As will POTC, they are just more popular films that appeal to a broader audience. (however i did enjoy crank
