Pirates of Carribean 1 Replacement Question - Blu-ray Forum

So i got the form from Disney. Do I just send the disc out or the whole case with the disc?

you have to send the disc back? weird, i got mine with just an email. and it turned out my disc didnt have the fault anyway so i gave the original away to a friend lol

Yeah, just the disc. They sent a replacement but I never got it. Contacted them again and they sent out a 2nd one that eventually arrived.

I think there was a framing problem in a scene.

Can someone confirm?

Were they ever corrected, or does everyone need the replacement disc?

was just thinking about this today for some reason.. where do you get the form from? might as well have the corrected version.. cheers,

in the scene where the two of them are sword fighting in the barn with the old guy drunk and poassed out. the framing is all wrong. some places heads are cut off etc. there is a thread on here somewhere. I got my replacement without mailing back.

ofcourse it's noticable it's a framing error. It plays that way for the whole scene.

I think you should be ok.

I picked my copy up in January 2008 and it was fine, but for a while it was luck of the draw whether you got a bad one or not, as the reissue seemed to get mixed in with existing stock at some retailers.
