Yeah, I just needed something to get me by until I could save for something bigger.

Me too, as far as saving for speakers and receiver. $1700. Sheesh. Over the summer, perhaps.

The speakers are so...small. They remind me of rabbits. Somehow.

I hear ya, it is better than nothing though. I wanted to do it right, so I purchased this in anticipation of things to come. It does the job, for now....

I've got the same Sony HTiB set too, except I have left/right front/back speakers on speaker stands.
I'd like to get something much better too, but considering my neighbors complain (townhouse) if I have the volume much above like 35, can't say some bigger better speakers would be put to much use
