Integrafied1 your collection looks amazing! So clean and well organized! Maybe I should try organizing by studios as well when I put up some shelves.. Good job!

How did you get Breaking Bad season 2 and 3 to fit into smaller cases? Did you actually have to cut the side of the art to make them fit? Just curious. They look good.

Yeah, I do not care for the fat cases and hate it when a series get released in different size cases so I took an X-acto knife
and trimmed just a little bit off of the edges and put them in a 3-disc viva elite case. You wouldn't know any different just by
looking at them.(nothing important removed, only background)
I did something similar for Mad Men. S1 came in a fat case along with the silver on the spine/front.
So I re did the artwork to match the other seasons and put it in a thinner viva case as well.

Thanks! Looks like you've got a nice selection of films there; you should put up some pics of your collection.

Man, some amazing collections in here. For me, it would be impossible to get the shelf space to have as many Blu Rays as some have here. I only try to pick up stuff that I really like, so here's my tiny collection:

I just got this stand yesterday, was up 'til 2 am this morning putting it together and getting everything set. It's the Atlantic 1080. Got it from Wayfair.com for $129 shipped. Really happy with it so far. I even have room for my movie soundtracks, and my CD's from Chevelle (Hats Off to the Bull is AMAZING), The Killers, and of course Smashing Pumpkins. Those are my deluxe copies of Gish and Siamese Dream on the top shelf. Been waiting on this shelf to share my pics

I have that one also.

It will hold 600+ of blu's in standard (US - Not the thicker UK ones) cases. I love mine also. Plus it has very flexible shelf options for CD''s as well.

Quick question Chad, do the blu's hang over the shelves a bit or are they flush?

The never models I've seen at BB that cost $99 are built with less material the all the blu'/games hang over about 1/2 it seems. I've been hunting everywhere to find the old model but no luck.

The blu's do hang over about a 1/2 inch over the edge of the adjustable shelves, but are in about 1/2 inch on the middle non-adjustable shelf. They are also about 1/2 inch in on the sides of the unit.

Since I had a little extra time yesterday I decided to move things around to make it look more uniform. All of the BDs that do not have slipcovers are in one case, digibooks and steelbooks are in another, and then slipcovers and box sets are in another. You'll also notice all of my sci-fi (mostly Star Wars) ornaments in the first picture. This is now their permanent home since my wife thinks they make our Christmas tree look ugly.

Unless you are trying to match to an older one you have..Don't worry about stability. The 1/2 inch they hang over does not hurt anything. In fact it makes it a tad bit easier to pull the blu out. I have the newer model and do not mind it at all.

This used to be a small closet in my home theater room, and I took the doors off and added more shelves. Last 2 shelves still have DVDs, just waiting for enough blu rays to fill the shelves. I have a stack of Harry Potter steels on the top shelf waiting for the Future Shop steel book shelf. Another note, even though I live in Canada, I made a decision early on to refuse the bilingual packaging and strictly buy in the USA (1 hour drive). A few French Canadians still remain though.
