I still haven't watched the show yet because I've been hesitant. Last night I caught the 'previously on' which looked good so with any luck I'll start watching before its over.

I wonder if this will get a Blu-ray release?

Showtime has the Pilot up on their website to watch for free. It is edited (what exactly I don't know), but it's still the episode. I'll probably watch it at some point like I have done lately with a few of the shows I bought on Blu-ray in the last few days.

As for this getting a Blu-ray release, that is what I am hoping for, but it is produced by Fox 21. Given Fox's crappy track record, a Blu-ray release (and the seasons that follow) would be hard to predict right now. It would be a shame if this didn't get the treatment like Sons of Anarchy does since that would be the only way I'd be able to watch this.

It's also available On Demand so I'll watch it on there

With any luck they will. At least Sony isn't releasing it because then there'd be a slim chance of that happening

Didn't even think of that since I never use On Demand.

True. Sony doesn't release much in the way of TV shows on Blu-ray, but I do at least have to give them credit for continuing to release each season of the shows they do support. I'm even afraid of buying a show released by Fox until they release the second season.

Any season compilation on Blu-ray and/or DVD would fall on Showtime's shoulders. Fox 21 may be affiliated with FOX, but Showtime is part of CBS, which has been fairly consistent when it comes to releasing season sets on both formats. The question is whether the ratings are strong enough to justify a season box set after season one wraps up.

Wouldn't Fox still be the studio to release this on Blu-ray if they choose to do so? You are right about the consistency of Showtime shows being released on both formats though.

I'd be surprised if this wasn't doing at least ok, but I haven't paid attention since I'm not watching this yet. We'll see I guess.

It's the same episode as aired on Showtime. The only difference is they blurred the nude scene and bleeped a swear word or two.

It's the best show Ive seen on tv n a long time. It's well written and well acted. The plot has numerous twists and almost all the characters r fresh.

No big deal then. I just figured I'd mention it was edited.

We'll see if I agree, if this is released on Blu-ray of course.

Well Howard Gordon certainly saw his share of moles on 24. Still, it's really hard to mount a spy type show without one. Where 24 went astray was how many seasons had a mole.

My mole money is on Danny.

The show got some love from the Golden Globes with nominations for Best Drama, Best Actor (Damien Lewis) and Best Actress (Claire Danes)

Season finale tonight. It's been expanded to 90 minutes. Remember, Santa is still working on his lists so if u dont watch there may be consequences.

Going to record this, then transfer the unwatched episodes to my laptop: need something to view while I'm on vacation.

I hope there's a formal Blu-ray announcement soon.

About to watch the finale now. It sucks that after tonight three of my favorite series will be done for the season - Dexter, Homeland and Boardwalk Empire (which ended last week).

Gotta admit I'm wondering how Homeland will actually translate into a season 2 that's scheduled. I guess they'll have to throw us a curveball in the season finale.

One of things I enjoy most about the show is it's lack of predictability.

The whole show threw me. I started watching this series with very low expectations, but it's really got me hooked. The show reminds me a little of the old show Showtime series Sleeper Cell which I really enjoyed.

This needs to hurry up and release on Blu-ray. One of the strongest first seasons I've seen.
