Who the hell cares about attach rate, it's the total number of discs sold that matters in the market.

Seriously Toshiba... if I hear the term "attach rate" one more time...

Thought this was funny.
Tell that to Beta.

What are we going to chat about when this is all over

We'd better make up our minds fairly quickly the way things are going for the unsophisticated format .

Considering Woolworths are apparently not a major player in the HD world, I've been seeing a 30 second War ad from them on a regular basis.

The ad graphics state 'available on DVD and Blu-ray' for the duration of the ad, the voice over also states the same at the end.

It was followed by a Disney Ratatouille ad with Blu-ray promoted prominantly.

This may not be a big deal for you in the US, but HDM ad's are rare still in the UK, and when you consider I've seen ONE DVD/HD-DVD ad, for Star Trek, to see Woolworths with major ad's on the likes of the Discovery Channel is a big deal.

Funny cause I went into my local woolworths today and the WAR blu-ray was in a HD-DVD case on the shelf.

I soon told them to sort it.
