HDMI splitters don't work well with SACD outputs in my experience. I COULD BE WRONG since it's been a while since I've tried splitting signals across many displays and one receiver.

However, a 2x HDMI split should be fine. If you can get a powered one where the splitter needs a DC power to split the signal, that is even better. Of course, this is all temp solution until you decide to get a receiver that accepts 1080p24, TrueHD and DTS HDMA signals.
