Universal will go first. Paramount will stick around to milk Toshiba/Microsoft as long as possible since that "money for nothing" is easy and larger than they would net now producing BDs.

I haven't the slightest idea, as anything I hear is all speculation at this point. But I hope one of 'em does soon. Then the other will follow shortly if not immediately.

They are both STUBBORN so I think it will be a long time for either of them and the will probably go Blu together in 2009.

I think Paramount will definitely go first. Why? Based on Graffeo's recent comments, it's clear Universal's head is still so far up HD DVD's ass. Paramount on the other hand has remained pretty quiet about the entire matter. In addition, I find it odd how their previously released BD's are starting to re-appear.

It just amazes and irks me that both Universal & Paramount can stay exclusive in the face of such dominance weekly by blu. I am shocked Universal is not getting more pressure from GE to at least go neutral.

Paramount and Universal are preparing their surrender statements. It's only a matter of time.

Paramount is currently on the "welfare" system. You cannot motive anyone to do something when they are making more money to do nothing. They will clearly be the last to go.

I really think Paramount will go first, just because Universal has been stubborn as hell and like Toshiba will probably fight until the bitter end. I wish Universal and Paramount would just go neutral right now!!!!!

Paramount could still be first since the first Universal titles aren't coming till July 22nd. Paramount could have stuff out it May or June. Universal was just first to announce.

Doubtful, usually there is a average of a two month window ( titles being announced for pre-order up till street date ) so retailers have enough time to order copies, my guess is also by September we will see some Paramount BR titles.
