yes,even i wish to know it,And do you always watch all the programs in thx mode.If so switch to custom mode and reduce contrast,sharpness,brightness & color to an extent where you eyes does not strain...
Use it like that for a week and see for any changes.I think this should be the reason for I.R.i.e your present settings should have been somewhere closer to dynamic mode,so once you reduce the settings it should solve your problem. In my case i did get mild I.R during cold start.Once warmed up i did not seen any ir.And i did not break my tv using colour slides ! Now its almost 8 months old and my tv works daily for 6 to 8 hours at a stretch.And i do not get any I.R. My custom settings are contrast 64 brightness 6 sharpness 8 colour 33 picture mode : vivid colour temp : normal My tv is panasonic 50 inches,V20series(2D model). love, kris. |
