With 4k TVs being in less then 1% of homes why would they raise the cost of consoles in order to sell a feature almost nobody can use. Not to mention what 4k rendering would do for processing. Most Playstation 3/Xbox 360 games are in 720p because higher resolution is processer hogging. Id rather valuable processing power go to a more stable framerate, better character models, and more realistic animation then to 4k resolution given that such things will benefit alot more gamers then 4k will In terms of native 4k rendering Id wait till the Playstation 5 for that ![]() |
