Really?! No Seabiscuit? All I saw at WM was The Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum, The 40-Year Old Virgin, Babe, The Breakfast Club, Ray, Field of Dreams, Mamma Mia!, and Inglorious Basterds.

I think most WM's are getting those exact same ones. Because me and another member in AZ checked and we both had the same ones as you.

That sucks. All I got from there is Babe. I considered Mamma Mia!, but Babe just looked too dang pretty. Maybe I'll check Target tomorrow.

yup and that the only U100 movie that is $12.99 well at least according to the Best Buy website. I'm hoping that maybe within the next few days or weeks that some Best Buy will have them in stock since the coupon expires on the 28th.

Also read the universal press release article some post above and the one in the news section and its great to officially read confirmations that Schindler's lists, ET, Jaws, and some classic monster monster movies are being released this year, although had someone already posted info on universal releases this year.

I saw these at Target today. Almost picked up Inglorious and Breakfast because it looked really nice to me. But I'll wait till I see them at BestBuy too, hopefully soon.

I want Babe as well. I bought it when it first came out so all I need is the slipcover for it.

Ha. I bought Seabiscuit as well, but I'm willing to buy again to get the slip for a decent price. Maybe if BB gets some more in tomorrow I'll take advantage of that Trade & Save deal. I'll probably hold onto my current one as a spare since the two Blus are identical. Crazy? Maybe. If I have seen Babe it's one of those that I was too young to remember. I was ten when it came out and I'm sure it made it to my house eventually. It's another one that will be like a fresh view for me.

I'm curious as to why ET wasn't mentioned in the press release.

I posted on this page about the insert that came with my Blu pickup today. It shows E.T. as a coming up 2012 release. It may end up being false though I hope not.

It was. 3rd paragraph after the heading of Los Angeles and the date.

"Universal Studios Home Entertainment will kick off the celebration in January with a special 50th anniversary release of To Kill a Mockingbird, debuting on Blu-ray for the first time ever. Throughout the year, Universal will pay tribute to other influential films in the Universal library with special events and Blu-ray releases of such iconic classics as Jaws and E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, which celebrates its 30th anniversary."

But it just seems that E.T. won't get a new 4k restoration and probably just uses the old transfer from 10 years ago. It could turn out just as good though, we'll see.

With E.T. not on the list of the 13 getting new 4k scans, I'm assuming they'll be reusing an old, DVD-era HD transfer, which is unfortunate. Unless they've quietly worked on E.T. in the years since its 20th anniversary release? That's possible.

Let's hope. It deserves a great release.

I missed the inclusion of it in the press release but I was remarking on it being noticeably absent from the 4k restoration list. ET is equally as important as Jaws and Schindler's List and should have the extra care put in.

To echo the other AZ guys who've posted so far, the only one my local BB carried was Billy Elliot. Ugh. Really wanted to pick up Brokeback Mountain or Breakfast Club.
