I recently found this cover artwork. I don't know whether it's official or not, but it really looks really nice.

Oooh, I really like that artwork (outside the horrid title placement that all the Diamonds are apparently getting). If they can tweak Cinderella's hair to the more orangey tan color found in the film, it'd be perfect (though I'm shocked they even bothered to get the gown color right).

Peter pan is expected in 2 years, while Finding nemo and Aladdin is expected in the 3rd quarter of next year. (Nothing has been confirmed yet.)

I think it's a nice cover and looks to be real because of the vertical title, seeing as how it's Disney's current preferred way of making their covers. My only complaint would be the fuschia (?) background because I think it kind of clashes with the blues and whites of the cover. I would've preferred a dark blue or at least purple. It's still quite early, so things could change and that pic is way too small and blurry to appreciate the cover in detail. But if this is a general idea, I like it

I hope Cinderella is re-released to theaters like Lady and the Tramp (I read today that it'll be in theaters for something like 12 days starting February 2nd.)

i believe this cover was posted before in the thread, but anyways, yesterday i was thinking about this, on the lady and the tramp website it shows past diamond editions and upcoming ones, anyways the logo for Cinderella, is the purple-ish color of the back ground, so this very well could be the cover for Cinderella.

I was thinking about it, do you guys think we'll get this october 2nd following the first tuesday of October pattern? or do you think we'll get it in september because LATT is coming out early.

LATT's coming out especially early to cash in on Valentine's (obviously ), but usually March Easter-rush is sacred for the spring Diamonds--Unique situation, not meant to throw off the schedule.

(Last year, Bambi was the March Diamond, but that didn't stop them from giving us Alice in February, Nausicaa for the spring Ghibli, or Tron:Classic in April to piggyback on the December theatrical-title.)

Greece is getting cinderella in September, France and Germany in October. It depends on distribution and marketing choices.

101 Dalmatians and Pinocchio are not part of the Diamond line though. And aristocats is getting released in France and in Greece in September, Germany should get it sometime in summer.

I feel like we had high resolution art of the lion king by this time last year, i don't understand why we dont for Cinderella yet.

Pinocchio was very much a Diamond release when it came out here, and 101D was always on the Platinum shortlist.

No, I don't mean in Greece. it's been dropped everywhere apparently (this info comes from Disney Germany). Plus, 101 Dalmatians is not a Diamond because (1) it's gonna be released very close to another diamond, effectively cancelling its diamond status and (2) because it will be branded as a Special Edition. We've had confirmation that it's gonna be released in these countries

Greece: August
France: September
Germany: October
Middle East: 2012

and Pinocchio is not in the Diamond line anymore because they wanted to keep it down to 10.

Guys when has there ever been different diamond edition lines for each country, that would be a little ridiculous, and for that matter, Pinocchio hasn't been released in diamond form, only in platinum, the diamond edition was scheduled for 2015ish i think.
