I hope you don't have any teenage daughters. It's not just the pose, it's also the dress.

If you guys think those photos are "Playboy photos" you really need to get out more.

I see nothing wrong with either photo for the yearbook as long as both the girl and her parents have approved them. There is no nudity involved and you can see way more skin than that by going to any public beach. It's THEIR business how she looks in a yearbook and the prudes in charge of the yearbook need to shut the hell up and publish the photo.

If she cannot dress like that in school, why should she be allowed to dress like that in her senior picture?

What kind of yearbook and prom did you have? Were the girls who went on grad trips and prom required to wear school uniforms to those too? Were there any school productions with dance numbers and outfits like the first picture? Don't tell me they wore school uniforms for that too.

We never had to wear uniforms, but we were expected to dress appropriately. No shirts that encouraged drug or alcohol use, no jeans with giant holes in them, especially if they were in the crotch or butt area. Girls were not allowed to wear very short skirts/shorts, and no shirts that showed your midriff. The rules did not change when we went on trips. We did not have to wear shirts with the school on them like some schools do. My high school helped to prepare the students for what they should expect when they go out into the work force, and many jobs would not allow you to dress like that, it is unprofessional. It's pointless to argue about this with you, since you only care about one thing.

Thanks for calling me shallow

Just because it's not school dress regulations doesn't mean it's out of line to wear something relatively tame like that for your yearbook photo.

Just flipped through my yearbook and sure enough there were several pictures similar to these ones and they wore it to school for those ocassions. Some showed some belly button or dresses that while longer than the one in the second photo, aren't that much longer. They weren't considered racy in the slightest.

Such prudes in the world.

Anyone who belittles someone else for having a different opinion than they do and calling them prudes is not only shallow, but a jerk as well. And I would hardly call that relatively tame. She picked those dresses and those poses on purpose. She wants to advance her modeling career, that's all she cares about, not self expression.

She wants to be a model. This is giving her a lot of publicity.

So, would someone who wants to be a professional musician posing with the band or orchestra in the yearbook be job posting?

I wouldn't have to call people prudes if they weren't going around essentially calling her a prostitute or just a pinup girl which you did. Your moral high ground has no merit when you called her an aspiring Playboy model as if modelling is limited to just taking all your clothes off for money.

You can tell if someone can be a model just by looking at their portfolio. A musician has to prove that they can play an instrument before they can get a job. I have not heard of any musical yearbooks.

I called her an aspiring playboy model because one of my friends went to middle school and high school with her, they hung out a lot. She's not shy... I did some modeling for a while, and I've never thought that modeling was all about taking your clothes off.

Second pic is ugly. Nothing worse than a girl who tries hard to be sexy. That should come naturally with her beauty.

Don't you think it's about time you stop modelling that hat

When you don't explain yourself, don't start ripping people. That's not fair either. I can't virtually pick your brain and know you had this friend. Nevertheless, unless she's parading around with little clothing all day and hooking up with every last guy, saying Playboy is still a stretch. In the WWE, despite having breast implants and being sexy and acting sexy, Trish Stratus never got naked and did Playboy despite being asked every year during her career.

Yeah I forgot to change the pic. I'll do it tomorrow.

Hypocrite much? Your comment ripped on people that did not share your pov. And when I said that she was not shy, I meant that she dressed like her senior photo often, and she is very promiscuous. I didn't post that I knew one of her close school friends because I thought that someone might accuse me of making it up. That annoys me. Yeah I knew about Trish Stratus. Most of the models that I knew wore revealing clothing for their shoots, and dressed differently when they did not have a shoot. She dresses like that for attention, it makes me laugh when she says otherwise.
