I followed these steps.

There is an easier alternative available (which you may already be familiar with ), but I don't think I can mention it here.

Right. As I've said before, it all depends on who produces the show. With Fox having a hand in this since it is produced by Fox 21, it will be up in the air until the home video release is announced.

Just a side note on one you mentioned... I'm surprised that Sony stopped supporting Damages after the first season since they are usually pretty good with their shows once they start releasing them on Blu-ray.

Sales of the first season were quite poor. SONY's fault though. It was MSRP'd at $90.00 for months. $60.00 at Amazon for 13 episodes so nobody was buying. Thats all SONY looked at after 12 months and never went back.

They also abandoned Rescue Me.

SONY also has a bizarre habit of releasing films on Blu, but not their sequels.

The president of Showtime gave some scoop on upcoming 2012 shows:

he said this about homeland

“Brody and Carrie [relationship-gamesmanship] have only just begun. There’s an enormous amount unresolved and that will be a certainly be an issue in season 2.”

That would explain it. The amount of people that had it in their collections here seemed decent, but since it's been out for a while, that obviously isn't the case. If it was released now instead of way back then, it probably would have sold better since they generally price their shows very nicely now (like only $24.99 for the second season of Justified).

True (Bad Boys 2? ), but other studios do it too (Rush Hour 1 and 3, but no 2? )

Perhaps the blu-ray push will be aided by winning two major Golden Globes, Best Drama and Best Actress (Claire Danes). Both well deserved.

I've seen it listed there but never with a price. That's good news.

I was surprised it won Best Drama but I guess it could've gone either way, all the nominees were great.

What is becoming apparent is the cable and pay channels r dominating the tv awards, especially in drama categories. Other than Big Bang Theory and Modern Family the networks were nearly shut out. The only other nomination I can think of was Tina Fey.

.....and deservedly so. The writing on Big Bang Theory and Modern Family is solid and consistent (speaking as a regular viewer), and any accolades received are certainly befitting. I don't expect the list of Prime Time Emmy nominees to deviate much from the Golden Globe list.

Finally getting around to watching this. Started this week and just finished episode 10 lastnight, and will definitely have the last 2 viewed this weekend. My wife is hilarious...everytime I sitdown in the living room, I'll hear her yell "Fire up our show!" from somewhere in the house.

So much on (network) TV sucks right now.....lately I've been leaving CSI Miami reruns on the TV while I do my 'internet tour' everynight...and find it good.....if you treat it like a comedy (obviously not intended, but how can people take garbage like that seriously??)

I'm actually really looking forward to the nominee list. I'm sure the networks are tired of taking it on the chin and I'm sure they'll make some kind of push to try to get some recognition....but for what?? Lowest Common Denominator Drivel that's what. Whenever the viewing public realizes that 'reality TV' is trash, the networks might make an effort to craft quality dramas & comedies.

I wish I shared your optimism; unfortunately, I don't think the network execs place the same premium on viewership numbers that they once did. It's more cost effective production-wise for networks to indulge in reality programming than it is to employ a cadre of writers to develop a drama or situation comedy. On the one hand, the major networks are stymied by FCC regulations regarding content, which puts them at a disadvantage against cable shows, and there are more entertainment options available to everyone, so it's a far more competitive environment to be involved in for all participants.
