Oh I get it. Your giving Smith extra credit for having the Tebow line. 46% passing, barely having double digit completions, getting most of his yards on a couple of completions etc.

It took all of about 3 minutes for the Eli Manning praise to begin, in spite of the fact that he really didn't do much to deserve it.

hahaha... I loved how Terry Bradshaw told the Giants management not to break the trophy when two of them grabbed it. Even he knows those new Conference championship trophies are garbage.

No, I'm not.

Eli Manning only had a 55% completion ratio, and SHOULD have been picked off twice if not for the 49ers stopping themselves from doing so.

And I was referring to QB rating when I said Alex Smith won.

I personally don't believe Smith played truly better than Eli, just that Eli didn't have a great day.

Just watch, if the Giants win the Super Bowl Manning will be something like 18-37 for 200 yards, 2 TD, 1 Int and will win Super Bowl MVP even if a receiver has 120 yards and 2 TD's or Bradshaw rushes for 130 yards and 3 TD's.

Your Eli hate made you do it then right? Nowhere did I say Eli had a great day, but head to head Eli still played better even if better means average.

Eli's 4th qtr performance speaks for himself.

Honestly neither team played all that great, the Giants simply got luckier than the 49ers did. Still think they can beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl but no longer as sure as I was after seeing Davis slice through their secondary.

You mean Kyle Williams, he's the one who won the game for them. Not Eli.

Opening Super Bowl line:

New England favored by 3.5
over/under - 54

I'll take New England and the under.

2-0 this weekend for an overall 8-2 record.

Picking the Giants for the fourth time this playoffs for the Superbowl win.

So the fact that Eli tried his hardest to turn that ball over twice doesn't matter to you at all?

Eli didn't play average. He sucked.

If you want to declare victory because Eli's sucking is slightly better than Smith's sucking, feel free.

It would of helped if the Niners converted at least 50% of their 3rd downs. It could of been a different outcome.

Terrible QB play coupled with an outstanding defense is why they were so poor on 3rd down. Smith has not improved during his 7 years in the NFL, funnily enough the stupid 49ers will probably give him an extension anyway.

Tell me about it. If I'm Willis or McDonald I'd have a hard time not punching out Alex Smith in the locker room post game.

Missed the game except for the game winning fg. Did Crabtree get hurt as I see he had one catch for 3 yards.

Defense can only take you so far when the QB can't even drive the bus and your idiot returner turns it over twice. I would blame Smith's receivers but a lot of his passes were either over their heads or in the dirt so I can't.
