Well hopefully it gets released in the US close to the theatrical release sort of what they've been doing with TLK and BatB.

Hopefully, but we've been closer to the other countrys lately so, i think that we might get it next year, either way works for me, i think its odd that there is no title to go with brave though if they don't release it. So either is a possibility

The marketability of it at Christmas has much more to do with the release date of The Little Mermaid than a theatrical run or any other release.
Ariel has always been one of Disney's most heavily merchandised characters. Just go and walk into a Disney Store. She's given way a little bit at the moment to Belle and Rapunzel in the UK, but you can still find lots of Ariel stuff in there. I don't think you could say the same for Peter Pan. I'm convinced The Little Mermaid will be a fall release. |

Ow no...
![]() My nephews of 6 and 7 need to be able to enjoy this as well. But they don't know English yet. I would have loved to replace my dvd copy with a blu-ray one. |

Yeah, but your mother tongue is English. Mine isn't. I grew up with the Dutch voices.
I imported Mars Needs Moms, although it did not have Dutch subs. But that's something different than a movie you 'grew up' with... ![]() |

would it be so horrid to HAVE to watch it in english? You clearly have a perfect grasp of the language ![]() Also, its the 2011 Winnie the Pooh I'm talking about, not the Many Adventures one from years back (thats likely the one you 'rgew up' with) |

Maybe that was a little confusing haha. What I meant is if they're going to do it nemo, its possible for them to do it to The Little Mermaid, I wouldn't be disappointed with having the last two of the fab 4 in one year, but i honestly don't know if its going to happen.

I'm pretty sure Pocahontas will be a single Blu-ray since all of its bonus material will be in standard definition and can fit quite comfortably. Pocahontas' supplements only amount to about 1.5 hours, so 1.5 hours' of SD content+2.5 hours' of HD content for both films shouldn't have a problem sharing a disc. Alice in Wonderland crammed much more onto one disc with no problem (2.5 hours' worth of SD content plus another 3 hours' of HD content including the film itself).

1) you can wait for it to be released over there (highly unlikely) 2) you can extract the audio from the Dutch DVD and put it on a) either a full BD rip you'll create so you won't lose any image quality b) a downloaded version of the movie which will, of course, be compressed it's not perfect, but it's the best you can do. it'll do the same for the Greek release ![]() ![]() |

I was curious as to which titles actually might be getting combo packs with their respective DTV sequels out of the ones not yet announced, and compiled this list of probability. Now these are just my personal guesses as to what we might be seeing so don't panic and think that this in any way represents Disney's future plans.
The following theatrical animation titles are the most likely to get combo packs with DTV sequels: 101 Dalmatians This one is a bit tricky as we still don't know if it's still in the Diamond line or not, but if it indeed has been dropped, it might potentially be shipped along with the sequel, 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure. If it's still in the Diamond line, the sequel will probably be released separately. Atlantis: The Lost Empire Might be shipped with DTV sequel Atlantis: Milo's Return. Brother Bear Might be shipped with DTV sequel Brother Bear 2. The Emperor's New Groove Might be shipped with DTV sequel Kronk's New Groove. A Goofy Movie Might be shipped with DTV sequel An Extremely Goody Movie. The Hunchback of Notre Dame Might be shipped with DTV sequel The Hunchback of Notre Dame II. Lilo & Stitch Might be shipped with DTV sequel Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch. Mulan Might be shipped with DTV sequel Mulan II. Tarzan Might be shipped with DTV sequel Tarzan II. The following theatrical animation titles do have sequels, but will probably be released stand alone: Hercules There is a DTV title called Hercules: Zero to Hero, but it acts more as a pilor episode for a TV series, and will probably not be included. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh This title might be bundled with The Tigger Movie, Piglet's Big Movie and Pooh's Heffalump Movie (it was shown theatrically in some contries), but most likely it will be released separately, with perhaps a box set option. The following theatrical animation titles I have a hard time imagining will be released separately, and might be collected in box sets instead because of their limited appeal and popularity: Saludos Amigos The Three Caballeros Make Mine Music Fun and Fancy Free Melody Time The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad I'm thinking that Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros will probably be released together, and that Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free and Melody Time might be released together. The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad might be released separately, but will probably be a bit under the radar for most. The Following theatrical animation titles will likely be released as Diamond Editions and will probably have their DTV sequels released separately and not forced on us in their regular editions: Aladdin Might release a trilogy pack alongside the stand alone release with The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves. Cinderella Might release a trilogy pack alongside the stand alone release with Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. The Jungle Book Might release theatrical sequel The Jungle Book 2 alongside the stand alone release. The Little Mermaid Might release a trilogy pack alongside the stand alone release with The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea and The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning. Peter Pan Might release theatrical sequel Return to Never Land alongside the stand alone release. The Following theatrical animation titles don't have any sequels or tie-ins, and should therefore be released as stand alone releases: The Black Cauldron The Great Mouse Detective Home on the Range Oliver & Company Robin Hood The Sword in the Stone Treasure Planet So, what are your thoughts on all of this? |

Some of those I highly doubt will be released with there packages, Lilo and stitch has 2 DTV sequels, the diamond editions may be released in a trilogy, BUT they will most likely always get a separate release option. Some i do agree with, but zero to hero will most likely never get a release again. Hunchback, mulan and brother bear are the most likely out of your whole list. As the others were originally either TV pilots, or they are trilogys (tarzan, Lilo, and the diamond editions will most likely all have separate releases) I doubt the pooh films are all going to be mashed together MAYBE, 2 together, and the 40's films will probably be packaged and split up.
