But, what was a distraction and a hindrance to me, was not being able to filter out all TV titles.

For those of us that are not big TV fans, it certainly would improve our Black Friday shopping experience, to not have to wade through all of those (dreadful) TV Shows. So, a "No TV shows" filter would be nice.
You've a got a "TV ONLY" filter. Okay, so how about a "NO TV" filter ? ? ? ?

Please.....
A "BD Movies Only" option has been added

We've had that exact idea for years. I don't remember why we didn't implement it earlier, but I think it was because we added the Deals Tool (https://www.blu-ray.com/deals/) so you can get the complete list there. But we are all for convenience and you save a couple of clicks/page loads by using side-scrolling so we should take a look at it again.

Any way you could add a 3rd option of All TV to show all TV deals no matter what format?
That's slightly complicated to do, so I'm afraid you have to check both for now :/

(Current examples at the time of this post: 300 Digibook, The King's Speech, LOTR: EE, Man Men: Season 4, Supernatural: Season 6, The Green Mile Digibook, The Walking Dead). The Bourne Trilogy is also showing up, but I suspect that's because I have the UK edition in my collection.

I've even selected "Filter all editions" under Settings so I don't see deals for titles that I already own. Any suggestions?
That's strange, I changed to "Filter all editions" myself and then added some of the mentioned titles and the other editions of those disappeared from the top deals... ?

The problem was that the titles were in your "Ordered" category, this should be patched now. Thanks a lot for reporting

When adding a new title to the database, if one with the same name, country and distributor already exists it pops up with an error message saying so, and doesn't let you submit it.

However sometimes with remakes etc the only way I've found to get around it is by adding something else in the title like '(2011)' etc.
A recent example would be the Footloose films:
https://www.blu-ray.com/search/?quic...n=bluraymovies

Another example:
A UK Titanic already exsists in the database now for the 1953 version:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Titanic-Blu-ray/33946/

However when James Cameron's 1997 version comes out I'd currently have to add (1997) in the title line for it to actually pass and not come up with the error.

Is there any way that it can check for an already existing title by checking/matching the theatrical year aswell, so that adding extra things in the title is no longer needed.

Hope I explained that well enough so it makes sense

Unfortunately that feature is turned off since too many were abusing it by putting 1000 smilies in their signatures

You will now see how your friends- and best collection matcher members rated different movies on the movie entries.

Have a few suggestions that might give the site a more modern up to date look and feel.
For PM, or friend requests or even any notification, it should update automatically without refreshing the page or going to another page. For example, your reading a how to guide and you receive a message, instead of "getting" the message when you move on, it will just notify you that you have a message. similar to FB.

For each theatrical entry, under the poster, there should be an embedded YouTube link to the official trailer(s) available in HD.

When rating a film, for those who have IMDB Pro, the rating should be synced up and vice versa.

1920X1080 should be a screen size option instead 1280x1024. or at least offer a 16:9 viewing.

For games, there should be a % played option. Instead of saying you played the game, you should be able to say the % you have played and how many hours online.
Also for game, add trailers.

When editing your Blu-ray collection, there should be another set of edit selected buttons on top, or to make it easier, have the buttons always appear at the bottom of the screen. So even as you scroll down the list, the bottons remained fixed on the bottom of the page.

The only time you get a confirmation message/PM, is when a submission is rejected, so if you don't hear anything it was approved

But you are right that a log would be good, I'll try to add something similar to what the staff has.

You can now add cast & crew to missing entries (and see a changelog).

Yes, so if a BD/DVD misses a theatrical entry (= master/parent entry), you have to first add the theatrical entry and connect the DVD/BD to it.

Just two questions, not sure if either are possible. Is there any way to
Make it so I don't see 3D deals at the top, not interested in 3D.
Make it so even if it's a different version of a movie I own I still won't see it at the top.
Thanks for reading.

Smile Cast Crew for TV Seasons

Is there anyway we can edit/update cast crew for tv shows on a per season basis? Some actors are only in a couple/few seasons of a tv show and are not in others....

ex. Mary Louise Parker is in every season of Weeds but Demain Bichir is only in Season 4,5,6.

ex. Kristin Bell isn't in Heroes season 1 but she is in Season 2.

I know that could get exhaustive at the end of the day but for major players in shows I think it is relevant.

Thanks!!!!

Is it at all possible to add an option to privatize every collection category? I'd like to just have a few public and others private instead of all or none.

I've attached a screen shot but it was reduced so much you can't really see anything.
This issue should hopefully be fixed, let me know if you still have problems.

You will see still see coupons to the right (if they are any) and they will also be calculated into the price. Coupons and prices with coupons are themed in green to easily identify them.
