When adding a new title to the database, if one with the same name, country and distributor already exists it pops up with an error message saying so, and doesn't let you submit it.
However sometimes with remakes etc the only way I've found to get around it is by adding something else in the title like '(2011)' etc. A recent example would be the Footloose films: https://www.blu-ray.com/search/?quic...n=bluraymovies Another example: A UK Titanic already exsists in the database now for the 1953 version: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Titanic-Blu-ray/33946/ However when James Cameron's 1997 version comes out I'd currently have to add (1997) in the title line for it to actually pass and not come up with the error. Is there any way that it can check for an already existing title by checking/matching the theatrical year aswell, so that adding extra things in the title is no longer needed. Hope I explained that well enough so it makes sense ![]() |

Have a few suggestions that might give the site a more modern up to date look and feel.
For PM, or friend requests or even any notification, it should update automatically without refreshing the page or going to another page. For example, your reading a how to guide and you receive a message, instead of "getting" the message when you move on, it will just notify you that you have a message. similar to FB. For each theatrical entry, under the poster, there should be an embedded YouTube link to the official trailer(s) available in HD. When rating a film, for those who have IMDB Pro, the rating should be synced up and vice versa. 1920X1080 should be a screen size option instead 1280x1024. or at least offer a 16:9 viewing. For games, there should be a % played option. Instead of saying you played the game, you should be able to say the % you have played and how many hours online. Also for game, add trailers. When editing your Blu-ray collection, there should be another set of edit selected buttons on top, or to make it easier, have the buttons always appear at the bottom of the screen. So even as you scroll down the list, the bottons remained fixed on the bottom of the page. |

Just two questions, not sure if either are possible. Is there any way to
Make it so I don't see 3D deals at the top, not interested in 3D. Make it so even if it's a different version of a movie I own I still won't see it at the top. Thanks for reading. |

Is there anyway we can edit/update cast crew for tv shows on a per season basis? Some actors are only in a couple/few seasons of a tv show and are not in others....
ex. Mary Louise Parker is in every season of Weeds but Demain Bichir is only in Season 4,5,6. ex. Kristin Bell isn't in Heroes season 1 but she is in Season 2. I know that could get exhaustive at the end of the day but for major players in shows I think it is relevant. Thanks!!!! ![]() |

You will see still see coupons to the right (if they are any) and they will also be calculated into the price. Coupons and prices with coupons are themed in green to easily identify them.
