Basically, I would have liked the ending fine if it wasn't for the bit with Luke saying he tried to open the door but wasn't strong enough and he heard her call his name. My guess is that I either missed her call out his name and didn't hear him trying to open the door, or it wasn't something the audience was shown or heard.

Something else that made me wonder is the significance of him showing the inhaler at the end. I would of figured she died from fright. But wonder if we're to believe she died from an asthma attack instead? ..which could be another way to go if you say she never saw the ghosts and just got herself worked up into believing she saw them.
