You know going back and watching this again, the "lack" of dialogue isn't as big as everyone makes it out to be. The only two who are someone short on dialogue are Driver and Irene together, and it's nothing out of the norm for two people who are incredibly attracted to one another but are having "awkward" moments like that. They say more with their facial reactions then most romantic films pass off with lines and lines of speech. It feels incredibly real.

With that said, Gosling interacts with just about everyone in the movie.

Nobody complains about the lack of dialogue in The Artist.

Twilight, Transformors, Meet Joe Black, A Perfect World, and several others are movies that have threads on the 1st page here and I don't like them. Yet you won't see a comment from me on ANY of those threads. I know people like those movies so I don't go into those threads and bash those movies.

All he said was that he didn't care for the movie and people get so defensive over it. All he said it was one of his least favorite and boring. I hardly call that bashing. people get to offensive on here that's the problem. But i'm sure they do the samething in other threads do. It's just relax and people have their opinion.

I'll quit posting while enjoying cervezas from now on.
I'll still never know why/how people feel inclined to crap on a movie that others obviously like.
