I have a hard time reading the Volume display on my Denon I can't imagine anything being worse to read. from my couch I can't read it at all. I wonder if the V1800 has on screen display of your volume level.

anyone know?

Both the V1800 and the V3800 have OSD but not over HDMI!

So is my RX-V995 dated? Or can I get some sort of external decoder for all the latest in HD sound and keep rockin'?

thanks, guys I think I will give The V1800 a shot. this weekend.

huge plus for me is 4 HDMI inputs.

it has 130 watts per channel over denons 110 now would this even be noticeable to my human ear?
