Tron 3 is happening. I know more than I what I heard from Bruce, but I'm not in a position I say too much. What he told me was a confirmation I heard from another source. 2014 release date. That's all I can say. Hope that helps.

As far as I know, black hole is still happening. Kosinski may be coming back, but he's tied up with His movie at universal. But with a 2014 date, it isn't impossible. It would come before black hole.

and John Carter of Mars is definately the worst movie of 2012 so far, so very very very disapointing

Actually, no. Wasn't overflow. I was on the red carpet through D23 and then we got to see the movie. And I definitely don't agree that the movie is that bad. I absolutely loved it.

The D23 ticket holders for the most part were in our overflow house,after watching arrivals from the D23 demo fan pit area of the red carpet.
a very very few number of the D23 demo ticket holders might have been fortunate enough to be in the main Auditorium but most were in the overflow house, as there were not any radio or gofobo demo tickets handed out. (was your ticket for Premiere house 1 or 2?)

glad to hear you found enjoyment in the film, i having had to sit through it twice thank god i was atleast getting my union projectionist salary, because i wouldnt pay to sit through such a waste of a film. The 3D on the film is on the level of last air bender 3D as well. Most of the people i have talked to so far also felt the movie was not any good, but hey everyone has different tastes glad you got something out of it.

If any of the D23 members were in the main auditorium, that's awesome. I just thought all the D23 members were in the second theater where they gave us the posters and what not. But I could be wrong. I'm sorry you didn't like it, man. I wouldn't say it's worst movie of the year, since I really hated Ghost Rider, but to each their own, yes?

....It's not watergate. I'm sure Disney has bigger things to do than scan the internets searching for leaks (leaks that have already been "confirmed" by it's actors) by its parks employees.

As long as you did not sign an NDA it's fine.

I have posted insider info about Disney's projects before.

You'd be surprised, man. Disney is a big company, and they watch closely. Some people I know at the parks learned that the hard way. I'm just careful at what I post.

Back in 2007-09 Disney Interactive Studios was working on a new video game franchise called "Jabberwocky" It was essentially a story about a war between humans and monsters, based in part about the conflicts in the middle east. In the story a young boy meets a creature called a "Jabberwocky" and finds that they are not so bad and the two work together to end the war (in a nutshell). This was well before How to Train your Dragon mind you.

It was first developed as a kids game but then was reworked to be more mature, I saw a fait bit of concept art and it looked amazing.

Disney loved the idea, in fact they were planning in the long term for it by laying out plans for 7 sequels, an amusement park ride and a film franchise.

Then after a year or two Disney up and decided that the game would not hit its target demographic and scrapped the entire project. Now all that studio does is make lame mobile games, a lot of people left the company after that.

Disney is so ADD these days, I hope they don't up and decide to shelf Tron until later. Actors can say a film is happening, because as far as they know, it is. But its the suits who make the final call.

Fair enough. And I definitely agree about them being ADD. And that bolded part is the problem I have with the most about Disney. Everything has to be cross platformed all the time, and nothing can stand on its own. They need it to have games, figures, movies, rides, and all this stuff that it doesn't necessarily need. It's really frustrating. It's because of that fact that Tron became such a sore spot with the studio to begin with. Ross forced them to do all that cross marketing, and it bit them and now they're still dealing with the repercussions of it. It's annoying...They need to not try and mass market things like this. Their movies will continue to suffer if they do.

Rich Ross just needs to be fired, the guy has no idea on how to manage a major motion picture studio

It wasn't a horrible movie but it just did not really catch with me.

I fully agree. He's become nothing but a headache inducing low life. He's destroying the studio. I want to see him gone. But he's buddies with iger, so that may not happen until after he leaves in 2015...
