So American Idol feels threatened by X-Factor so they copy Simon by bringing back somebody that they had already cut? Oh well. I just hope it's not the cowboy.

Yet to pick any clear favorites but the guy that played the drums is fun to watch. It's like he drinks a few too many cups of coffee every time he's on screen. haha

So Thursday is when they cut it down to the Top 12? Damn. That's half the contestants. I'm gonna have to go H.A.M. when it comes to voting for Hollie Cavanagh.

My review from tonight:

1. Reed - Interesting twist on the song, I liked it.
2. Adam - horrid
3. Deandre - HORRID x2
4. Colton - HORRID x412
5. Jeremy - decent
6. Aaron - decent
7. Chase - horrid
8. Creighton - interesting twist on the song as well.
9. Phillip - Since he is mimicing my fav artist of all-time, I'm rooting for him just on the chance to see Dave and him perform on the finale.
10. Eben - HORRIBLE. Besides the very ending.
11. Heejun - Horrible. Don't ever try beating Archuleta on this song.
12. Joshua - decent.
13. Jermaine - decent

Adam, Deandre, Colton, Chase, Eben and Heejun MUST go first elimination

Joshua was the best of the dudes today. I just think there are way more guys that are good this year then the girls. Too bad so many will get eliminated this week.

Grimm is still Mr. Personality so I hope he makes it thru. Colton appears to be the only Rocker so I voted for him even tho he wasn't all that good. Also sent a vote for Jermaine. So glad they brought him back.

Phillip Phillips wasn't bad and the Country singer was okay - can't remember his name tho so obviously not great.

I'm more looking forward to tonight than last nights episode. Lets hope the Ladies don't disappoint!

Actually if you recall last year Idol had an extra girl make it into the finals so instead of 12 they had 13.

Idol did it before X-Factor did.

Ryan did say at the beginning of last night's episode that the top 5 boys and top 5 girls will go through on Thursday night's episode, and each of the judges will have a wild card pic, rounding out the top 13.

So there will be 13 contestants again. Extra boy or girl who knows. It's up to the judges.

Just watched today and its pretty tough although there were a few I didnt care for. Here are my top 5 to make it through:

Phillip Phillips
Deandre Brackensick
Joshua Ledet
Jeremy Rosado
Colton Dixon

01) Chelsea Sorrell - What a mess.
02) Erika Van Pelt - Good voice and song choice. Wish she would've went harder though.
03) Jennifer Hirsh - Pack your bags, hun.
04) Brielle Von Hugel - Ask Jennifer to help you pack your bags when she's done.
05) Hallie Day - Great voice. Not a fan of the song.
06) Skylar Laine - Bad song choice.
07) Baylie Brown - GREAT song choice. This girl is gorgeous. Judges were harsh on her. I thought her performance was good.
08) Hollie Cavanagh - Boring song but she KILLED it. I'm in love.

09) Haley Johnsen - TERRIBLE song choice. Didn't show off your voice at all.
10) Shannon Magrane - Great voice, decent song. I really want her to go through.
11) Jessica Sanchez - Great voice. Bad song choice.
12) Elise Testone - Did the song better than Jen. I already forgot Jen's performance by the time Elise sang.

Ok so just finished tonight's episode and as I have said the guys are stronger than the girls. However at the top I think the girls can hang but not 1-12. Anyway here are my top 5:

Shannon Magrane

I kinda like Brielle Von Hugel as she kinda sounds like Haley Reinhart from last year but not as good of course but I am rooting for her as I want to hear her sing again. I thought Baylie Brown was terrible and Hallie Day wasnt that great either. They do both look good though. Got Em!!

I feel the opposite of you Czar. The girls were better to me. Perhaps I'm bias or sexist... I dunno. haha

Even tho so many of the girls were good, only two really stood out for me. Skylar and Hollie.

Does anyone know if the Judges will be told before hand who made it thru so they will have time to decide who they want to save or will they have to decide quickly on the spot?

I agree with that top 5 and that Baylie Brown was the worst by far of the girls. I'm guessing only 1 girl will get a judges pick and it will be between Erika, Brielle or Jen.

That top 5 guys are probably(no particular order).

Naw u are just a sexist lol. Also I dont think the judges will know who made it before hand. After the top 10 is announced, the judges will pick some of the contestants to sing again to try for the wildcard spot. Got Em!!

If I have to pick the wildcards I would probably say that Jermaine Jones will get picked from the guys with Heejun as a possibility. Out of the girls I agree with u about Brielle & Erika but thought Jen was terrible in my opinion. Got Em!!

I only got to vote for Hollie Cavanagh 100 times last night. I had to be up early and was tired so I literally fell asleep with the phone in my hand. Hopefully it was enough.
