I have this one on DVD, but still haven't watched it. I watched the first the other day, I really liked it, maybe I should see the second one.

The 2nd one is more of a balls-to-the-wall comedy, but -- for me at least -- it worked incredibly well. They just ran with the concept and had a blast with it.

Gremlins 2 is one of my most watched films. I can't wait for the BD.

It's just DELETED SCENES also seen on the dvd -some interesting - others not. The quality on these scenes are mixed, at least on the dvd that is...

If they are just carying over the featres from the dvd then it is still worth enough.

I grew up watching the original Gremlins and I loved how the sequel spoofed the first one. They even make fun of Phoebe Cates' speech about how her dad died on Christmas. I'll definitely be upgrading this one.

oh so its just a compilation of deleted scenes then? on the back cover it makes it sound like theres 20 minutes tacked onto the film.

Anything known yet about all the subtitles for this one? I saw the backcover but that's not always very accurate when it comes to subtitles.

Hoping for Dutch subs like on the first one since WB refuses to release both of the movies in our area.

Yeah. Saw that. I'm a HUGE fan of saving space. Will have to get it when it hits the states (and it's in English)

I remember reading a really great retrospective article about the Gremlins films here on blu-ray.com a while back - my guess is that it was probably lost when the servers crashed. Does anyone happen to have this article saved or know anywhere else it was posted and/or who wrote it? Any help would be much appreciated!

Went ahead and broke down and ordered the first one. I am hoping to get the second one soon. It is out of stock everywhere near me, even at amazon right now. I have always had such a soft spot for Gizmo. I always feel so bad for him when the Gremlins torture him, he is one of the most adorable creatures on film to me! I even still have the dancing and singing Gizmo from my childhood.

Went to Comic Con and they were selling the actual Mohawk mogwai puppet used in the film for around $25,000 I think.
