Jessica Sanchez is the one to beat this season! WOW! That girl can sing!

I have a feeling Shannon will be going home this week. She had the weakest performance, IMO.

Recap:

Joshua Ledet - Pretty good but a bit to gospy for me. I just hope he doesnt turn into this years Jacob. Want more of an R&B feel from him.

Elise Testone - Her voice isnt compatible with a Whitney song or maybe she just isnt as versatile. Still think she has great and unique voice.

Jermaine Jones - Nice performance but he could be a one trick pony.

Erika Van Pelt - Good performance but not great. She is still holding back.

Colton Dixon - One of my favorites from tonight. He pulled it off and he could go far this year.

Shannon Magrane - Bad performance and this song or maybe Whitney period is to big for her. She couldnt handle it period.

Deandre Brackensick - Very good performance and this kid has versatility. I hope America doesnt sleep on this kid.

Skylar Laine - She made the song sound country but man can she sing and she nailed it big time. She is much better than Lauren Alaina in my book.

Heejun Han - This guy is pure comedy and probably has a career waiting in comedy. Nice performance but he sings safe and I think he can show more.

Hollie Cavanagh - Great performance. Big song and she has a big voice.

Jeremy Rosado - Nice performance and this kid has a great tone to his voice. I think he needs to let loose more or he could go home soon.

Jessica Sanchez - Great performance. I think the judges over did it like she was the 2nd coming of Whitney but still a great performance. J-Lo said it could be an all girl final this year.......I doubt it.

Phillip Phillips - Love this kid and he is my fav contestant this year. I said he would win it from his first audition and I feel very strong about that today. His voice is butter and love his style. He may be the reason why there wont be an all female final.

Bottom Girl/Guy:
Jeremy Rosado
Shannon Magrane

Shannon will be goin home no doubt! She was really the only bad performance of the whole night. Got Em!!

I really liked Jermaine & Skylar's performances but Jessica easily had the best of the night. Hollie and Erika also did well.

If I got to pick who to send home, it would be Deandre. Don't like anything about the guy. After him it would be Joshua then Jeremy.

I actually like Shannon she can sing and it sucks she will probably go home. I can't believe she messed it up that bad as it seemed when they had her do it again in rehearsal she nailed it. I think her nerves got to her.

I could see Elise go as well though. I'd say Jeremy or Heejun could go too, he's funny but he really isn't anything special when it comes to singing. The problem JLo will never vote either of them off especially Jeremy.

Wow u gave Shannon a pass? She was terrible. Guess your ears heard sumthin different then most of us. Also I am pretty sure none of your 3 fails will be goin home tonight.

One other thing I forgot to mention was Mary J. is an excellent mentor and she was spot on everytime she gave advice and feedback. Thats what I am talking about. I remember they had weak arse Miley Cyrus as a mentor and I laughed my arse off! What a joke! She cant even sing. They need to make sure they have great artist to be mentors and not tiny bop teens who cant sing trying to give advice. Got Em!!

I just don't get the dislike of DeAndre. I understand his singing style is not for everyone but the kid has all the singing talent to be in the top 5.

He is my favorite in the show along with Phillip, Joshua, Jessica and Elise. I actually like Shannon too but after last night she is really going to need her fans to vote in order to survive.

I agree with u about Deandre. Also I like a few singers this year as there is a lot of talent but I am trying to narrow it down to my absolute favorites and I think here is my list of favorites:

Boys
Phillip Phillips
Colton Dixon
Deandre Brackensick

Girls
Elise Testone
Jessica Sanchez
Skylar Laine

I totally agree with you on the girls. Little miss country "Skylar" totally surprised me with her Whitney song last night. For the guys my top 3 are as I listed above...DeAndre, Joshua Ladet and Phillip Phillips.

I've not been watching that much this season, but I have watched the last two weeks and have to say that I really like the Hollie girl. She auditioned before didn't she? I don't remember her being nearly as good as she is now.

She auditioned last year and made it all the way to Vegas week and got cut right before the top 24. Same with Deandre Brackensick & Colton Dixon. Got Em!!

Shannon got lucky because he she wouldve been the bottom chick, there was a 50/50 chance that Jeremy couldve beat her out. Jeremy wasnt gonna beat out Elise because she has to much potential and a very unique voice. I dont think Shannon will be around much longer though. Got Em!!

I'm surprised JLo let Jeremy go. Was sure she would fight for him but she must be sticking true to wanting a female to win this year. As do I. So many talented and beautiful women this year it would be a shame if one of them doesn't walk away with the win.

I'm still holding out hope that Deandre will be gone next week. Maybe Shannon will surprise us this coming week and do really well with her song choice, if not I will have to agree that she is in trouble.

Deandre needs to go PRONTO. His voice irritates me. That hair does as well.

J.Lo mentioned there could be two females in the finale! I would love to see that happen! Hasn't happened since season 3

Yea I remember Colton because I thought he (or the big kid...JC?) should have made the Top 24 over that Carrot Top wannabe.

I don't remember Deandre though...but that's a good thing because I hate the way he sings
