Busta Rhymes single-handedly ruins the entire film.

You are so right. I hated Busta, and Tyra Banks for that matter. It's weird too, because Resurrection is watchable, and has some fun moments. But everytime Busta's suckage enters the screen, he takes you right out of the movie.

Wasn't the kung-fu kick scene amazing?

I don't like to use the word "hate" because it's a strong word but, Busta Rhymes, and Tyra Banks, ( a rapper, and a supermodel / talk show host) who are not real actors, had no business being cast in Halloween: Resurrection, or in any movie for that matter.

I remember specifically watching that scene in the theater and almost getting up to walk out. It was a tough scene to watch. As a matter of fact, I found that more disgusting than anything in Zombie's films.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be released on BR.

Probably meant the Canadian release with Curse, H20 and Resurrection.

$15.99 for who? Add in shipping to the US, and the price nearly doubles.

And the EB release of Resurrection will be under $10 before you know it.

Busta definitely ruins the film... well, kinda ruins it. I mean, there's a lot of fun parts in this film that don't involve him really, but some scenes that could have been really cool ended up getting ruined... such as the showdown near the end of the film, as well as the 'two Michaels' scene.

That being said, the shipping from Canada really isn't THAT bad. And really, would you rather pay shipping and get three decent quality transfers from Canada, or buy a double feature crap release, and then a single stand alone release that is most likely ALSO crap?

I found this out in the $7.99 bin at Best Buy yesterday 3/13/12 and its not due out until April 17th it was marked $7.99 but rang up for $5 I know its a bad film but for $5 I could not resist just to see how the transfer looks. I stil need to pick up Halloween 6 and H20 and yes I know there is a Canadian triple pack but I get these for $5 or under I am good

I have always enjoyed Halloween Resurrection. It was a very good slasher film. I own the original Halloween, and Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers and H20 on Blu-ray and all the rest of them on DVD. I think I'll just stick with my Resurrection DVD for as long as it still works.

I love films like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Halloween, but I am more exited for Blu-rays of the Universal Monsters right now. I think those are probably more worthy films for nice Blu-ray releases. That does not mean I would be unwilling to get the slasher films on Blu-ray. I do own Friday the 13th 1-3, FVJ, and Friday 2009 on Blu.

I think I'll end my ramble now. I like Halloween Resurrection, but I am happy with my DVD copy.

For me, the series ended with H20. I loved the ending, loved Laurie's story coming full circle, and hated that Resurrection destroyed all of that in the opening moments.

My thoughts exactly. Had I not been on a date, I probably would have walked out after the opening scene...

Wouldn't it be a triple pack (Curse, H20, and Res)? Those are the only ones Echo Bridge owns.
