I can't see what is controversial about the HD-DVD fanboy's classifying HD-DVD as the videophile format.
Have a look at what they are posting! At least that is the way I'm interpreting their posts, that they think HD-DVD is now exclusive etc etc. Since when do the HD-DVD fanboy's use logic or facts.

The irony is Blu-ray was supposed to become elite then vanish as it was going to be much more expensive according to the HD-DVD camp. Don't ask me to explain why, as I use logic and facts. Ask the question over at FUD.com they maybe able to explain, just don't expect a rational argument.

I'm more than happy for them to use any argument they wish as they are beating a hasty retreat - I mean after all I don't think there are any new outrageous comments left for them to make, they have already made them.
