I'm sure a mod will merge this thread.
The set is expensive, especially compared to the theatricals, but you are getting all the extra content & better transfers. Around £16.66 a film isn't too bad. Its a shame they didn't include the extras on a couple of Blu-rays in SD, instead of the 9 DVDs but at least you get the extra features discs from the extended DVD set & the Costa Botes documentaries. The set has dipped down to £30 a couple of times, but usually springs back up to £40-£50 EDIT: By the way my purchase of the set, at £45, was softened as I traded in a few dusty 360 & PS3 games.
