I think it would be hilarious if Toshiba went Blu-ray before Universal and Paramount did.

Several phone calls to Kevin Collins, Microsoft's normally accessible "HD DVD evangelist," were not returned. Nor were calls to Ken Graffeo, the Universal Studios Home Entertainment executive who doubles as co-president of the HD DVD North American Promotional Group.
Interesting.

This is The Hollywood Reporter, published by Nielsen, who also does Billboard and Mediaweek.

This is more than a rumor.

I know it's all over the web, but I can sense this one is different. It's credible source, and even can list the top selling and nielsen figure of the week as well. ALthough tosh said no decision has been made, they may have not made the decision on when, but they have made decision to pull the plug....

more than ten years.

It is good that HDDVD vs Blu-ray didn't last that long.

Well, folks, as they say out here in SoCal....

"That's A Wrap"

Oh yeah, what are the chances that a thread is already locked over at the cesspool?

Sounds like it's credible to me.

That's pretty telling for me. Not a 'No Comment' not a denial, and basically admitting it's feasible

A reporter for Home Media Magazine also contributed to the article. We have two industry websites that agreed to run the article. This is NOT just a rumor.

Does anyone know of any other sites to search as reference to substantiate this?
