I wish they'd offer both the IMAX version and the constant aspect ratio version. But, as they didn't do that for TDK, I don't expect they'll do it here. Hopefully, at least, TDKR will have a much better transfer than its predecessor.

They've been out. But since almost all films shot before 1953 are 1:33 to 1, and the academy "standard" is 1.85:1, a 2.35:1 TV would be just a hindrance for the majority of films out there, unless you like black boxes on the sides.
