Eh I thought it was passable but overall it was what many of us have said it was, a 2 hour long Ford commercial and more Viper than Knight Rider. Now while I was a fan of Viper, that's just not what I was looking for in this new Knight Rider, which really is being portrayed more as Knight Rider: The Next Generation than anything else. I said this to my best friend last night while watching, I don't believe the show will last past the first season simply because the production values are gonna be way too high. Look at how much CGI they used so far already and they still haven't even used three of the classic Knight Rider signature staples: KITT launching Mike up a sheer vertical wall with the ejector seat, Super-Pursuit Mode, and Turbo Boost. I mean c'mon! Where's the Turbo Boost! KR was all about the Turbo back in the day!!!

But anyway, yeah I for-see cancellation cuz just like Viper, it ended up costing way too much money per episode to make, over $1M per episode if memory serves. Fox already announced cancellation of The Sarah Conner Chronicles dues to production costs despite its ratings, and NBC killed off Bionic Woman which was far less flashy CGI and production-wise and had good-great ratings. Unless they start recycling stock footage so they don't have to keep pulling out the new "Semi" every episode and such, this is not going to last very long at all. I figure it'll be done before sweeps. Too bad too, it had potential.
