Why did you got to ebay? . There's been a thread i helped set up for ages now and many members here help get it for you including myself at better pricing than scalp central.

OT though, i just watched the movie and i liked it but definitely can see the budget constraints here n there and his first movie is a little rough in places so to see him take on Avengers as he did, i'm in awe!

He really did do pretty well and i quite liked the movie and watching the extras made me want to plonk down and buy the Firefly series to catch up on the series and back story.

so you can't claim via e-bay because it's been over the claim period? Sorry to hear that bud

If you want, send me a PM and i'll get you one and sent out recorded . It'll probably be cheaper than scalp route

Firefly is amazing. You'll appreciate Serenity a lot more once you've seen the series

I had a feeling i would get to know the characters better etc but the movie itself can be watched as a standalone and it takes nothing away from the viewing experience one iota. I just think it'll make it all the more rich for it

yeah i agree. I can be watched on it's own but knowing the back story does help. Just adds to the already awesomeness!

I think Joss basically said it's like a nice way to kind of put a bow on the cancelled show and give them a last big hurrah. It's a pretty good one at that for a TV based movie. I think though i'll be picking the TV series up when i see it on offer again and really have the whole experience enriched. You can watch it as a standalone but i did notice that if you watch Firefly you're going to get all the character developments and really have the overall back story enriched a lot more

Definitely watch Firefly first. If you watch Serenity first you will spoil the whole series of Firefly as Serenity concludes the whole story.
