That was funny. Other likely scenarios:

Chairman (from Toshiba): The chair wants to welcome new Steering Committee members Memory-Tech and Paramount. Philips and JVC, don't let the door hit you on the arse.

Chairman: The Paramount rep has the floor.

Chairman: (briefly considers seppuku) Okay, let us begin. (looks at the agenda) ... "HD DVD-RW specification" - skip that - "Final specifications for Triple Layer Twin Format" - nope - "China- HD DVD" - you must be joking... Okay, there's nothing left. Coffee and donuts everyone!
